Many thanks to all those able to attend our annual meeting!  We continue to be encouraged by your energy, participation and investment.  There’s lot to do and we know that our greatest asset is you, our community.  We need your ideas, time, skills and resources.  Again, thanks for coming alongside as we celebrate the good work happening and continually work towards revitalization in Beaver Falls.

For those who were unable to attend, please see our Volunteer Page for opportunities to invest in the work of the CDC

News Tribune Planning Charrette
2 April 2016

Thanks to all those able to join us for our second News Tribune presentation last Saturday (April 2nd).  Our architects presented the first phase of their design work and I think we were all amazed at the potential that lies ahead.  It was fun to hear new ideas and feedback as we imagine the News Tribune become a central hub in our community!

Beaver Falls Lecture Series: “The Stories that Shape Us”

Our community is shaped by the stories we tell.  Too often, our stories are negative and they get inside us and begin to cloud how we think or what we value.  We’ve heard over and over about how things aren’t like they used to be. Perhaps it’s time to remember the good stories that make this community what it is. Surely, this place is filled with stores of fabulous people, amazing moments, life-shaping challenges, and deep commitments. The Lecture Series is a place to tell and remember the stories that make this community great as well as to imagine what the future could hold. Thanks so much to those who listened, laughed, remembered and participated in these stories this Spring.
