Catch the Vision

COVID-19 has changed many things this year, including the CDC’s Annual Fundraising Banquet. We’ve held these banquets for the past few years, in local spaces, with local catering, and inviting a speaker to join us in Beaver Falls for the evening.

Last year’s banquet was held at the Second Baptist Center, catered by Chef Jerome Watkins, and featured Tom Murphy, the former Mayor of Pittsburgh. He spoke on the need to be intentional with our plans and encouraged us, as a community, to take responsibility for our place.

Originally planned for May, we have had to adjust our 2020 plans. But adjustment does not mean that the celebration has to stop. Now, we are asking you to “Catch the Vision” with us as we host Bill Flanagan at a virtual banquet! Details and registration can be found here.

But wait! You may have questions like “what is the CDC?” and “what do they do?”

We are committed to the revitalization of Beaver Falls and seek to support community members working on projects that are meaningful to them. For more description of who we are, visit our main page or check out some of our projects. The video below shares highlights from this past year, including adjustments due to Covid.

So, will you join us?
