Join us on March 20th for the First of our 3 part Lecture Series, ‘Our Best is Yet to Come’.
Featuring speakers from Pittsburgh Leadership Development Initiative LDI Cohort XXXI, speaking on their on going research study of Beaver Falls.
The Lecture Series will be held in the 2nd Floor Ballroom of the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls at 7pm.
3rd (and final!) Lecture Series
Join us for the final night of our series on the steel mills!
Commissioner Jack Manning will facilitate a panel of steel mill workers, as they share stories of their experiences working in and for the steel mill industry.
BFCaT refreshments will once again be available!
2nd Lecture Series
Come hear from Paul Hertneky, author of Rust Belt Boy, as he shares with us about the demise of the steel industry and what that meant (and means) for our area.
An autographed copy of Rust Belt Boy will be raffled off this evening and BFCaT refreshments will be served!

Vote Beaver Falls!
We will also be voting on whether to remain a 3rd Class City or adopt a Home Rule Charter. Here is the public presentation that has been shared by the Home Rule Government Study Commission, elected residents who have been studying the nature of a Home Rule Charter and have now written one for Beaver Falls. Here is the preliminary draft of the Beaver Falls Home Rule Charter. And here is a shorthand explanation of why this Study Commission is recommending that Beaver Falls vote to accept Home Rule Charter.
The next Public info session on Home Rule is Thursday, October 7th @ 7pm. 2nd Baptist Education Bldg, 2319 10th Ave.
